Training FAQ

Sughra runs the training in a unique and professional venue in the heart of Derby. We train within an established and successful clinic called Face UP. You can see more information about the venue here

There is enough space for at least  students. We have separate theory and practical spaces, a large kitchen, break out areas and free onsite parking.

You can gain insurance and practise professionally following each of our courses. We recommend Balens or Westminster Insurance but if you wish to stay with your current provider, please check with them before signing up for any of our courses. All of our courses are accredited by The Complimentary Medical Association.

Each course is allocated a set amount of CPD points, and you will find this on the course information page

Training generally starts by 10am and finishes by 5.30pm at the latest.

We normally ask you to bring writing materials and anything to cater for special dietary requirements.

We do ask you to bring your lunch each day and we will provide hot drinks and snacks.

Be comfortable. Wear something that’s easy to take off and put back on as you’ll be practising on one another.  Also, something that you don’t mind getting a little oil on. If you prefer, you can bring your training clothes with you and change into them.

ALWAYS bring some slippers or warm socks (or both).  It’s easier when you’re getting on and off the bed, it keeps you warm and it protects the training room floor. 😊

Be prepared that we may take photos which we post to social media (we will only do this with your written consent)

It’s normal to feel a little anxious about going to a new place and meeting new people.  We understand. We are just an email or phone call away if you have any other worries and we’re always happy to book a chat with you before you come to us.  We often create a whatsapp group for all course participants so you can introduce yourselves prior to the course.

Let us know as soon as you can. Have a read of the terms and conditions here

Most of the in-person days focus on practical.  Some of the theory is sent to you in advance and we cover the important parts in person.  We often book a zoom call a few weeks after the course too in case you have further questions.

You can reach out via email anytime and we also have a facebook group where you can post questions

If case studies are required, you will receive your certificate within a month of submitting them.  Where no case studies are required, you will receive your certificate at the end of the course, as long as you have met all the requirements

We can come to you as long as you have at least 4 staff who need training.  You can email us here with more details about what you had in mind
