Its Good To Talk
When I started working as a solo therapist, there were things about the workplace which I missed. Even now, with so many years of experience including marketing and business, it’s easy to miss the guidance, problem sharing and reassurance that comes from working as part of a team. Often that guidance comes from a manager or head office. When it’s just you, there can be a silent void which was once filled with creative brainstorming, feedback and decision making.
Sometimes we need gentle reminders, little nudges and moments of inspiration to keep going.
This is why earlier this year I launched ‘Therapist Tea & Talk.’ It’s 90 minutes, one Sunday morning per month where you can connect with me and like minded therapists and business owners.
It includes:-
- … gentle intros
- … a monthly theme
- … subtle goal setting
- … selfcare focus
I’ve purposely made it simple and affordable and you just book and come along when the date and time suits – no subscription, no commitment.
Everything we discuss stays between us. It’s a safe place to share, ask for advice and offer your wisdom and experience.
Maybe you’re not sure which direction to take your business. It could be that you feel stuck with marketing and it’s beginning to feel like a chore. All too often, the theme is that we are selling selfcare but forgetting to look after ourselves. Sometimes, it’s just good to have company and feel inspired by the vibe in the zoom room.
Therapist Tea & Talk
December will be a special one. It’s that strange week of the year where we don’t quite know what’s going on, we’re in limbo and the new year is looming. It’ll be a great time to take stock.
I’m a big believer that new year’s resolutions don’t work and that January is not the true new year. Nature tells us that spring is the time for new projects so we’ll be sharing what January and February are all about from a personal and professional perspective.
Book in advance and all you need is a good internet connection, zoom and your favourite cuppa on the ready! (and normally a cosy dressing gown!)
Check out the link for our next session on Sunday 29th December.
Thank you for reading this months blog, Its Good To Talk. If you would like more information please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Have a lovely day,
